I obtained a pre-Bologna bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in 1988. Since then, I have been working in a wide range of technological fields.

Among my professional roles, I highlight my position as a Technical Manager at an IT outsourcing company, where I also provided Helpdesk support to end users as needed.

The duties I’ve performed, complemented by courses in various fields, have also equipped me with leadership and communication skills, which I apply positively, motivating and engaging the people I work with.

I have a natural aptitude and enthusiasm for sports and, more broadly, for outdoor activities. I participated in track and field events as a federated athlete between 1980 and 1991, representing the National Team and setting a national record in the 100m hurdles event.

I approach decisions with a careful and objective analysis and subsequently commit myself to the tasks and decisions made. These traits, along with the ability to remain calm and apply logical reasoning even under high stress, make me someone whom others feel confident seeking support from.
